School Visits to the Almeida Historical-Military Museum

In 2026, the Almeida Historical-Military Museum has been registering strong participation from school groups, reinforcing its role as a privileged space for learning and contact with historical heritage and the fortress.

In addition to the guided tour, the students also had the opportunity to participate in the Telegraph Workshop, one of the activities included in the Educational Service's activity booklet for 2026, which provides a practical and interactive experience about means of communication in the past.

The Almeida Historical-Military Museum continues, therefore, to establish itself as a dynamic space for discovery and learning, welcoming schools from different regions and promoting activities that bring young people closer to local history.
