The Almeida Military History Museum Filled with Youth, Curiosity and History!

Between 7 and 9 June 2026, the Municipality of Almeida, through the Almeida Military History Museum, had the great pleasure of welcoming a group of students from Colégio da Via Sacra, in Viseu.

Over the course of these three days, around 120 young people had the opportunity to immerse themselves in our history through the Museum's Educational Service programme. It was a true journey through time, filled with learning, new discoveries and, of course, plenty of fun!

We believe that getting to know our heritage is the best way to preserve it for future generations. We would like to thank Colégio da Via Sacra for their visit and for choosing the Municipality of Almeida and the Almeida Military History Museum for this enriching educational experience.
